Three Little Words
Definitions from Webster's International:
Nouns
- Complex
- complex, noun. A more or less complicated collection
or system of related things or parts.
- System
- system, noun. A set or arrangement of things so related
or connected as to form a unity or organic whole.
- Network
- network, noun. Any arrangement or fabric of parallel wires,
threads, etc. crossed by others fastened to them so as to leave
open spaces.
Adjectives
- Complex
- complex, adj. Composed of two or more related parts,
composite, not simple.
Notes
- "complex system" is legit, thus also, "complex network"
and also "complex complex".
- "network" is less general than "complex" or "system"
- "complex" is confusing, as might be either noun or adjective
- hence, "system" is reccomended
